Elections Administration Office Closed July 30 through August 1, 2018

To better serve the voters of Fort Bend County, the Office of Elections Administration will be closed Monday July 30, 2018 through Wednesday August 1, 2018 to allow departmental staff to attend Election Law training conducted by the Texas Secretary of State.

The office will resume normal hours on Thursday, August 2, 2018.

Fort Bend County Health & Human Services reports 3 additional presumptive positive cases of COVID-19, bringing overall total to 6

Fort Bend County Health & Human Services is announcing 3 additional travel-related cases of COVID-19. One traveler was not part of the group involved in the other Houston-area cases but was on the same cruise in Egypt at a later date.

Local Health Departments ask passengers of Egypt Nile River cruise to self-quarantine, contact local health department

Fort Bend County Health & Human Services, Houston Health Department, and Harris County Public Health ask any local residents who recently traveled to Egypt and took a Nile River cruise to immediately self-quarantine for 14 days and contact their local health department.
