Please join Fort Bend County Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy on May 9 for a town hall in South Richmond, to discuss community needs & county resources, the upcoming county budgetary process, and November 2023 bond propositions. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 6 PM, at Phelan Elementary School's Library (1600 Great Blue Heron Ln, Richmond, TX 77469).
The goal of this town hall – the fifth in a series of 10 – is to get valuable input from residents and community leaders on what kinds of work they would like Fort Bend County to focus on. This is an opportunity for residents to voice their wants and needs for South Richmond, the county, and beyond. Additionally, there is a likelihood that the county will issue a mobility bond at the end of the year that covers major roadway, intersection, and trail improvements across the community, and a parks bond that addresses new parks and recreation projects.
