Postmarked ballots which arrive in the mail on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, as well as a number of ballots from members of the U.S. Military and citizens residing overseas are yet to be counted as well as provisional ballots and voters who submitted ballots by mail which could not be processed due to defects in their carrier envelopes. Under Texas law many of these ballots may be received until November 12 and be eligible for counting. Final, unofficial results will not be available until November 13, 2024.
