County Offices Closed Monday January 20th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. District Courts and Jury service will close on Tuesday, January 21st. As part of the Fort Bend County Hazardous Materials Team, Fort Bend County EMS operates a tox-medic program. Tox-medics carry specific regiments of medication antidotes that when administered, counteracts the exposure of chemicals or bio-hazardous materials to first responders or patients. Funded by the Urban Areas Securities Initiative (UASI) grant, medications are available across the county in three separate caches managed by on-duty battalion chiefs.
