Captain Dalia Simons
Captain Dalia Simons is the Commander of Criminal Investigations Division for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. She began her law enforcement career with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and has served the agency for twenty-two years. During her tenure at the Sheriff’s Office, Captain Simons has served in various Divisions inclusive of Dispatch, Detention, Patrol and Criminal Investigations. Prior to reaching the rank of Captain, she has served this agency as a Deputy, Detective, Sergeant and Lieutenant within the various divisions in which she has been assigned.
Captain Simons’ recent duties include the supervision of various investigative units within the Criminal Investigations Division including Fugitive Apprehension (Warrants), Crime Scene Unit, Robbery-Homicide, Special Crimes, Burglary and Theft, Family Violence and Fraud. Captain Simons is a member of Homicide Investigators of Texas, Robbery Investigators of Texas and the Texas Narcotics Officer Association and has extensive experience in working with local, State and Federal Law Enforcement agencies.
Captain Simons currently holds a Masters Peace Officer License with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and is the 2018 recipient of the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast District Officer of the Year award.
