This notification is to provide and update that Fort Bend County Environmental Health has changed it's Plan Review for Food Establishments effective 03/20/25.  The below are the following changes: 

 

  • Plan Reviews will not be accepted March 20, 205 and March 21, 2025.
  • Beginning March 24, 2024 we will only accept plan review applications online.  The location to the website will be updated on 03/24/25 when it becomes available.

FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS

A plan review must be conducted prior to the start of any construction of a new food establishment. A change of ownership inspection must be performed prior to operating an existing food establishment. A permit must be obtained to operate a food establishment. 

To apply for a Food Establishment, please navigate to https://myhealthdepartment.com/fbceh.  If you do not already have a login, please create one.  You will select "Food Safety Program" and then select the type of permit you are trying to acquire.  It's important to read each application in it's entirety and provide all necessary documents in order to obtain your permit in a timely mannter.

The following first two documents will be required to upload for your permit application.  Please read carefully the General Requirements as you prepare to submit your application as well as review our County Regulations.
