Honorable Lewis M. White, Associate Judge
Judge Lewis M. White is the Associate Judge for the County Courts at Law, he performs a multitude of hearings for the county courts.
All instruments must be filed through the County Clerk's Office.
- Juvenile Detention Hearings are heard at the Legion Drive Annex on Mondays at 1:00 P.M., on Wednesdays at 9:00 A.M., and on Thursdays at 9:00 A.M.
- Civil motions; modification hearings; occupational/restricted licenses are designated per the courts schedule, to set up a hearing contact the court coordinator Eralyn Fisher (Eralyn.Fisher@fortbendcountytx.gov)
- Criminal cases must be reset in person on your assigned court date. The Court does not reschedule court dates by telephone or fax.

Q. Can I call to schedule a hearing on a motion?
A. Hearings are not scheduled during a phone call, the initiating party will schedule a hearing via email with the court coordinator Eralyn Fisher at Eralyn.Fisher@fortbendcountytx.gov and should include the motion/order documentation in their request for hearing email. Additionally, please include the case number and hearing type in the email.
Q. Can the court accept my filing during my hearing?
A. No, the court does not accept filings. All instruments must be filed before the hearing through the e-filing system with the County Clerk’s office E-Filing Rules | Fort Bend County.
Q. Where can I access the forms for an occupational driver’s license?
A. All forms are available on the County Clerk’s form’s webpage that has instructions and how to file on PDF forms County Clerk Forms | Fort Bend County the petition for occupational driver’s license is under Civil Court.
Q. Why is my order locked from view?
A. The document may need to be counter signed by the presiding judge, it will be available once it has been processed by the county clerk’s office. The court does not provide copies of documents in a case, please contact the County Clerk’s office for any plain/certified record requests.
Q. Can I call to check on the status of a signed order?
A. After a hearing has completed and Judge White signs the order, all documentation will be processed by the county clerk’s office, to verify the status of an order call the County Clerk’s main office line at 281-341-8685.
