You must present the following on your wedding day:

  • Valid Identification
  • A Texas Marriage License and have waited at least 72 hours after receiving the marriage license or qualify for a waiver of the 72 hour waiting period.  

You may obtain a marriage license through the Fort Bend County Clerk, located at 301 Jackson St., 1st Floor, Richmond, Texas 77469; 281-341-8685.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled wedding time.  You and your guests are welcome to utilize the entire courtroom up to 20 minutes after the ceremony to take pictures.
