Congratulations to you both on your wonderful engagement, Judge Lewis White would be honored to be asked to officiate your wedding on your special day.

Wedding ceremonies can be accommodated by appointment via email, to schedule a wedding please contact the court coordinator Eralyn Fisher (Eralyn.Fisher@fortbendcountytx.gov) to assist with setting up the appointment for a wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremonies are available during the county office hours. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your wedding’s scheduled time, if arriving late or needing to adjust the ceremony’s time contact at the court (281-341-4424) as soon as possible, late arrivals could delay the wedding ceremony and this may result in rescheduling the wedding.

To ensure everything is in order for this joyous occasion, please review all the following for the wedding ceremony.

Requirements:

Couples, please be sure to have the following items with you and ready on the wedding day:

  • Valid Identification
  • A Texas Marriage License
  • Have waited 72 hours, or you have presented the Judge with an Application for Waiver of the Seventy-Two Hour Waiting Period

Information:

  • Wedding ceremonies are scheduled by appointment
  • Located at Legion Drive Annex
  • Office Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
  • Judge White is able to perform the wedding in English
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to the wedding’s scheduled time
  • Photography and videography are welcome throughout the ceremony
  • Family and friends are permitted in the wedding parties (up to 30 people)
  • Wedding decorations are not permitted within the courtroom

Marriage Licenses are available through the Fort Bend County Clerk’s office, if you need further assistance with obtaining a marriage license or have additional questions please contact or visit the County Clerk’s office Marriage Licenses | Fort Bend County.

Once a marriage license is obtained, the couple must marry within ninety (90) days of the issuance date. After the wedding ceremony, the couple is responsible for filing the marriage license with the County Clerk’s office. County Clerk office locations are at: Office Wait Times | Fort Bend County.
