Karolyn Drisdale 

drisdaleExecutive Administrative Assistant Karolyn Drisdale holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Leadership & Management from Sam Houston State University.  A pioneer in her own right, she has the distinction of being the first African-American and African-American Woman to lead the Criminal Collections Department and the Criminal Court Support Division of the Harris County District Clerk’s Office.  She was also the first African-American and African-American Woman Regional Collections Specialist for the Texas State Office of Court Administration’s Collections Improvement Program.  Her 20 years combined service with the State of Texas Office of Court Administration and the Harris County District Clerk's office in various leadership positions working in and for all court levels (Municipal, Justice of the Peace, County and District Courts) in the State of Texas coupled with 7 years of service with a private law firm, affords her a unique perspective to assist Sheriff Fagan with the Administration of Justice in the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. 

As an advocate for the underserved and underrepresented in the community, Karolyn is a Life Member of the SHSU Alumni Association and an immediate past member of its Board of Directors (2018-2020), as well as a Charter Member of the SHSU Black Alumni Club.  Karolyn devotes her time to the Jack Yates National Alumni Association, Women Professionals in Government, and The League of Women Voters - Houston.  She is a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar for Brazoria, Fort Bend and Harris County and a Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

 

Paulette Johnson

Bio_Johnson (002)Paulette Johnson currently serves as Command Executive Assistant to Chief Deputy Mattie Provost. Prior to joining the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, for over 20 years she was a Senior National Relationship Manager for Fiserv Financial Services, a provider of technology solutions to the financial world and consumers.  At Fiserv she provided strategic and consultative management for a portfolio of Fortune 500 clients overseeing revenue, profitability, account growth and development. 

 A native of Houston, Texas, Paulette is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations.
